IT’S TIME TO ABOLISH
THE DEATH PENALTY IN OHIO

At the Hunger Network, we join with our partners - The Ohio Council of Churches, Ohioans to Stop Executions, and many others - in calling on Ohio’s legislative leaders to abolish the death penalty in Ohio. The moral calling of partner denominations is clear that the death penalty is immoral.

There is high risk fo racial and class bias in an extremely long process that doesn’t center the victims and their family members. As people of faith, our priority is to focus on the grief and restoration of the victims and arcane and legalistic procedures that prevent closure.
